How to start
It’s easy to become a member with Popcar and only takes a few minutes online or our friendly Membership Experience team can help you over the phone on (02) 9532 3078.
Choose Your Plan
Pick the right plan for you and complete your application form. All our plans have no lock in contracts and our Stand By Plan has no monthly fees.
Registration Approval
Once we receive your application we will verify your driver's licence and credit card details. We typically complete this in 1 business day.
Popcar Member Pack
Once approved you will immediately be able to reserve and access vehicles using our apps Bluetooth feature. We will also post you a membership pack which will contain your access card (which can be used in place of the Bluetooth capabilities).
How To Use
Using Popcar is Easy

Book Your Popcar
All members will receive access to our easy to use online booking system or you can book on the fly with our App on iPhone and Andriod. Just pick your car, date and time and you're ready to go.

Unlock And Drive
When you get to your Popcar, you can unlock the vehicle using Bluetooth via our app or tap on to gain access to your reserved vehicle. The keys stay in the car and are just used to start the car.

Return
Once your trip is complete, return the Popcar to where you picked it up from, lock it again via the app or tap off and you’re all done.

We're part of the sharing economy and to ensure a great experience for everyone we need to be mindful of our fellow Popcar peers.
Keep It Clean
Our maintenance team clean our cars weekly, however we ask that you take your belongings and rubbish with you.
Leave Some In The Tank
The petrol is on us. Don't leave the next person without enough fuel, ensure it's at least 30% full. There is a fuel card in every car.
No Smoking
Keep our members breathing easy. No smoking, ever. Not even with all the windows down.
Pet Safety
If your best mate is coming too don’t forget their carrier. Safety comes first. Also, be sure to clean up any fur they may leave behind.
Be On Time
We don't want to leave a fellow member stranded without a ride and we don't want to charge you a late fee too.
Keep Us In The Loop
If you find a car that is damaged, dirty or personal items left behind, let our Membership Experience team know so we can action it.
